Vaughn has stressed that Fox largely kept to his original script for X-Men: Days of Future Past , albeit switching around a couple of secondary characters - notably substituting Quicksilver in the place of Juggernaut , who he had imagined being involved in breaking Magneto out of prison. While it's clear that the MCU is having issues, it seems unfair to put full responsibility on Feige . There is no way Feige could have predicted the Majors situation, and The Marvels wasn't able to be promoted properly due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes that took place in 2023. Though The Marvels could've been delayed, it would've necessitated pushing back the entire MCU slate.
