The hands-on was a little too short to really go in-depth on these systems so it's difficult to ascertain exactly how the interplay between dodging, parrying, and swapping units really flows, but what was on display felt intuitive and <br><br> <br>The game features a dodge and parry-based combat, allowing your characters and the entire team to get various buffs if you use them correctly. However, you also have to keep some other mechanics in your m<br><br> <br>Even during the brief hands-on - and during conversation with the Kuro Games representative present during the hands-on - it became clear that Wuthering Waves has big plans for launch. There's a wide array of content immediately available, and when I asked about post-launch plans, there wasn't a concrete answer but an obvious indication it's something that's already a consideration. There's also the fact that the team has been so readily willing to listen to player feedback. A lot of the improved elements present in this hands-on and the second closed beta are a direct result of players' complaints from the first round of testing, with some pretty drastic redesigns already made in respo<br><br> <br>As mentioned earlier, players may spend considerable time creating new accounts, particularly if they aim for Jiyan through limited pulls. However, if Jiyan isn't the priority, players should be able to obtain their desired characters within a few rerolls. This is because, at the game's launch, F2P players will likely have more access to standard pulls than limited banner pulls. In the early game, you can find these chests by using the Sensor, but you can get better tools for exploration as you get more rewa<br> <br>Encore: Encore is perfect hybrid DPS in terms of being able to dish out both ranged and melee attacks, since she transforms into a melee powerhouse during her Ultimate, dealing most of her damage during this period. Her Ultimate combo is straightforward and forgiving, making her easier to play than characters like Calcharo on that regard, though she will have hard time parrying, which might be quite a deal-breaker for some players. Encore boasts one of the highest single-target DPS windows, but as of now, she does not have a well-synergizing sub-dps partner, except Sanhua. In short, Encore is a solid DPS and is highly effective in the Tower of Adversity, but her ideal team composition is a little lacking due to the existing roster of characters. DPS wise, she is similar to Calcharo, and ultimately players should pick either one of them depending on their preference in play style, or character design, if they are intending to pick a DPS character as their priority.
