My most anticipated game of the year is Resident Evil 4 Remake . After the updates made to Resident Evil 2 with improved mechanics and story changes, I’m excited to see how Capcom improves and changes Resident Evil 4 __ for a modern audience. The original is considered one of the greatest games of all time and really evolved the third-person shooter, but it also changed the series to be more about action than the more classic horror elements of the first three ga
The game brings classic zones new life with stunning detail and incredible races. The only downside of the SLG game cheats is that some of the zones feel too short and that the open world doesn't feel too exciting. The real fun definitely comes from the actual zo
2023 is shaping up to be yet another great year for gaming, with lots of highly-anticipated releases finally making their debut. There's already a slew of both AAA and indie games set to launch this year, with plenty more surprise announcements likely to be revealed as the months go by. While **The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ** is already primed to take 2023 by storm, we can also expect to hear more on upcoming titles we know little about, like IO Interactive's mysterious James Bond g
Football is the most popular sport in the world, and Football Manager is an incredibly successful series that sees players take control of virtually any team they want. The series started back in 1992 as Championship Manager and the complexity of the game itself has grown exponentially since t
Final Fantasy 16 already looks like my ideal blend of FFXIV and Ivalice games. A high fantasy setting, warring kingdoms, Eikons fighting in kaiju battles - where do I sign up! I’m not quite sold on FF16 's combat, as seen in trailers , but I trust Yoshi-P and the team at Creative Business Unit III. The more fantasy-leaning JRPGs have always been my favorites, and I can’t wait to see what FF16 ’s world and story have in store. It’s been a while since I’ve truly fallen in love with a Final Fantasy game, so I’m hoping FF16 recaptures that feeling. Between this and Trails From Reverie , this summer is already shaping up to be a great one for JR
In Breath of the Wild , the best piece of decoration, the Picture of the Champions, could only be received after completing the Ballad of the Champions DLC. Tears of the Kingdom shouldn't have DLC , but there is potential for achievement-based decorations for Link's house. Offering more decorations for Link's house as milestones to mark player achievements can be a source of pride for players, as well as a constant reminder of their succes
Similar to how players would collect ingredients in Breath of the Wild , Tears of the Kingdom could offer players the option to collect resources such as wood and stone to work with. Players could use what they collect to make new, more unique items. Stone or metal could be crafted into sculptures or idols, while wood could be made into woodcarvings that could be mounted on the walls. Even some enemy materials could be collected for materials to convert into decorations, such as Lizalfos claws and Moblin necklaces. If Tears of the Kingdom brings back classic enemies , then the ability to craft trinkets themed after them would be a bo
Link's house in Breath of the Wild was one of the most underwhelming parts of that game. With its version of Link being more customizable than ever, it was a shame that he had to live in such an uninteresting house. The Legend of Zelda: ** _Tears of the Kingdom** _ could reverse this disappointment by letting players build Link a house that is truly fit for a h
The only downside to taking Animal Crossing: New Horizons on a long journey is that the day-night cycle follows the real world. While players can't ever run out of things to do, it isn't necessarily as enjoyable after two or three hours in-game if it's still dayt
Each game of Civilization 6 will last hours, and it may not even be possible to finish one before most journeys have finished. Regardless, it's still easy to get lost in Civilization 6 for an entire journey and a long flight might just be enough time to win
The story is also great and if players haven't played God of War (2018) quite yet, then they should definitely begin with that game before going to Ragnarök. The original God of War trilogy isn't necessary, but it is a fantastic series to dive into fu
Letting players give Link a more distinctive house would turn renovation from a chore to an endeavor. More freedom in designing could even lead to the community sharing their own layouts for Link's house, further energizing the fanbase and encouraging them to play more. A more customizable home for Link could be another reason to draw players into the next g
Dark Link is an ideal candidate to be a returning boss in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While a Dark Link outfit was available in Breath of the Wild , the absence of the character himself was disappointing. Dark Link often serves as a solid challenge for players, pitting Link against his own strengths, which would be a perfect way to add a battle full of engaging combat. Although little has actually been revealed about Dark Link's creation throughout the series' lore, the implication he comes from some kind of nefarious magic is perfect for a world filled with Malice like that of BOTW and TO
