Developers seem to be setting up Tears of the Kingdom to be a mix of classic Zelda elements and new features that will help set it apart from its predecessors. Tears of the Kingdom flooding Hyrule and leading to The Wind Waker would be an interesting twist, but that's not the only direction that it could go.
