There are several tools that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ** could include that Breath of the Wild ** did not fully provide the player with. Link collects a wide variety of tools throughout the Zelda franchise, used for everything from transportation to manipulating his environment. But although BOTW featured a wide variety of weapons, some of which had secondary uses, it was curiously lacking in more permanent to The ability, while more straightforward in its use than Fuse or Ultra...

A few shots from Tears of the Kingdom appear to take place underground, in caves and caverns. In one particular portion of the footage, next to a handful of Bokoblins that appear to be mining, you can clearly see what looks like spirits floating around on the gro As one of Breath of the Wild 's most popular side characters, it's not surprising to see the return of Prince Sidon. Perhaps more surprising, though, is what seems to be his new role in gameplay, as TOTK 's last trailer shows him fighti...

Sable boasts a unique, cel-shaded artstyle that's entirely unlike BOTW 's and TOTK 's, but is beautiful just the same. The ancient ruins and megafauna skeletons dotted around the map lend it an awe-inspiring sense of scale, tempered with a feeling of quiet melancholy. In conjunction with the mellow, ambient soundtrack composed by indie pop musician Japanese Breakfast, Sable creates an evocative, memorable experience on PC, Xbox, and The gameplay demo shows Link attaching a Tree Branch to a rock ...

You could greatly improve the arm's usefulness by Fusing it with a massive weapon, like one of the game's many Lynel Crushers. Picturing Link holding the Lizalfos arm while the arm itself holds the Lynel's large weapon is interesting enough, but the idea of tossing this arm and essentially using the Savage Lynel Crusher as a boomerang is too tempting to pass While the Hookshot might be more commonly used in Zelda as a tool to help Link get to places he'd otherwise be unable to reach, it can also...

While the Lizal Tri-Boomerang may make for a solid sword, it doesn't hold a candle to some of the game's heavy-hitting weapons, such as the Lynel Sword line. These wide, flat blades are as powerful as the Lynels who weld them, and the Savage Lynel Sword actually has a section of its blade split in three. Fusing a weapon like the Lizal Tri-Boomerang with the Savage Lynel Sword could make for one devastating weapon in Tears of the King Zelda doesn't give Link a shotgun to use as a weapon, but a Ri...

Silent Shrooms in BOTW can be used in cooking to increase Link's stealth temporarily, and a Silent Shroom Arrow could have a similar functionality executed differently. Instead of increasing Link's stealth, a Silent Shroom Arrow could be used to put enemies it strikes to sleep, which would still allow for Link to approach his task with stealth. For the sake of stealth, an area of effect for the Silent Shroom Arrow could be beneficial for instances where players need to put a group of enemies to ...

Shield surfing is a fast and fun way to traverse Hyrule’s hills and mountains, but as with mining it comes with a price. Like weapons, shields also come with their own durability, and shield surfing in Breath of the Wild is an activity that will damage them. A dedicated Surf Board in Tears of the Kingdom would allow players to shred the slopes without fear of leaving themselves undefended in the event of a monster attack. It would also remove the possibility of a shield breaking mid-surf. If pla...
