BOTW is full of mechanics and hidden features and that makes it really hard to imagine what Tears of the Kingdom could add that would enhance the experience. Despite that, fans likely won't be satisfied with a sequel that's mostly focused on telling a new story with the same mechanics and format, meaning they could be setting themselves up for disappointment when _Tears of the Kingdom _ finally releases in Much like Hyrule Bass, Fortified Pumpkins in Breath of the Wild are mostly used for cooki...

While the Hookshot might be more commonly used in Zelda as a tool to help Link get to places he'd otherwise be unable to reach, it can also be a good weapon with its versatility. Depending on the enemies and the game, the Hookshot can pull either the enemy to Link or vice versa. Smaller enemies can be defeated by hitting them with the Hookshot, and it has the capability of stunning larger enemies. Even Dampé in Ocarina of Time considered the Hookshot to be a treas There are several tools that Th...

From its first reveal in 2019, Tears of the Kingdom has been the subject of much speculation, with its brief trailers and short snippets of gameplay giving small sneak peeks at some of TOTK 's new tools that weren't in BOTW . Perhaps even more so than the Zelda series' first foray into open-world gameplay, Tears of the Kingdom looks to be an impressively ambitious expansion on the world and mechanics of its predecessor - although much of the game's actual content has remained a mystery, even as ...

Our heroes spent so long saving Hyrule only to plunge it into turmoil a second time, and their relationship will soon be tested through tough decisions and sacrifices we are yet to see unfold. You could greatly improve the arm's usefulness by Fusing it with a massive weapon, like one of the game's many Lynel Crushers. Picturing Link holding the Lizalfos arm while the arm itself holds the Lynel's large weapon is interesting enough, but the idea of tossing this arm and essentially using the Savage Lynel Crusher as a boomerang is too tempting to pass While the Hookshot might be more commonly used in Zelda as a tool to help Link get to places he'd otherwise be unable to reach, it can also...

Tears of the Kingdom flooding Hyrule and leading to The Wind Waker would be an interesting twist, but that's not the only direction that it could go. In fact, there is already at least one contradiction between the two games. Not only did the King of Hyrule have different names in both Breath of the Wild and The Wind Waker , but BOTW 's king was already dead long before that game, much less TOTK , while Wind Waker 's king was there at Hyrule's end. The Kings of The Legend of Zelda 's Hyrule are ...

The first Legend of Zelda game to feature sailing as a prominent mechanic was The Wind Waker , and the similarities between its story and the possibility of TOTK 's Hyrule being flooded are difficult to ignore. It's possible that the stories of the two games could be tied together as much as Tears of the Kingdom is with Breath of the Wild . While more information would be needed in order to confirm this, a clear line could be drawn connecting the two if a flood ends up being vital to the upcomin...
