I was going through some old records from a while ago in Parliament, and it's pretty interesting. It goes way back to 1930, and it’s all about the use of neon signs on factories and shops near major roads. Apparently, these signs, which were mostly red or green, were causing a fair bit of confusion because they looked so much like traffic signals.
