It is getting late and I pull down a dirt road along the Little Tok River to find a wonderful camp next to a deep blue pool in the river, where Grayling are surfacing set of espresso cups everywhere. After setting up my camp, I grab the fishing rod and commence to catching my supper. Handmade ceramics processThese mugs are made from a toasted buff stoneware clay rolled out flat into slabs. Each mug shape is cut out by hand and formed into the body of the mug. I use handcrafted stamps to impress the design into the wet clay. The seam where I join the sides of the mug is left visible, as part of the design. There are long stretches of the episode that involve only three characters - Burns, Smithers and Homer - and with Smithers absent for much of the middle act there's a go...
