I tried to restart from the beginning of the game but bounced off about ten minutes into Pathologic 2's intro on two different occasions. I wasn't able to get back into it at first, and there's likely a lot of reasons for this. I was playing it wrong. Pathologic 2 didn't explain itself to me. The introduction is far too long. I wasn't paying enough attention to my actions because I was treating it like a video game. I was choosing dialog haphazardly. I wasn't judging whether or not the people I talked to in the game world actually had my best interests at heart. I wasn't focusing on being Artemy. I was stressing out about the wrong meters. I wasn't in the z

This was a little after the public launch of Elden Ring and most of my non-work gaming time was dedicated to refinishing the game in NG+. I had missed a lot of NPC side quests in my rush to finish as much of elden ring Nightreign revenant remembrance Ring as possible in time for the game's review embargo (something stress-reducing CBD would have been ideal for, ironically) and this second playthrough was all about clearing out everything that had been skipped or skimmed over, as well as getting my revenge in boss fights - looking at you, dual Crucible Knights. I had just reached the Mountaintop of the Giants for the second time when the Extract Labs’ CBD Chocolate Bars ($13 per bag) arrived. It was time to find out if CBD actually wo

The Tarnished also accidentally enables D's twin brother to kill Fia. The player does this by delivering D's twin the Twinned Armor, leading him to kill Fia in revenge after her questline is completed. By simply delivering the broken knife to D, the Tarnished kicks off a chain of dominos that ends with the fall of Fia, Rogier, and D in Elden Ri

According to my Twitter account it's been just under a month since I really fell in love with Pathologic 2. It now sits solidly in my Top 10 Games of All Time list and I can comfortably say it is my favorite existential horror experience since Silent Hill 2 . I don't think that's because of "CBD for gamers" but I do think the House of Wise Stress Drops helped me get through that miserable third run of the game's intro. Was that because I really wanted to power through, and I really wanted to believe at least one of these sample products had some sort of tangible effect? Again, it's possible. Brains are fickle, untrustworthy, and, in Pathologic 2 , easily remova

After the boss fight, players will be pleasantly surprised that the cave will continue on until they find an exit. The whole boss area is then revealed to be an underwater tunnel that connects to the island housing the Dragon Communion Church . It sets a precedent of how caves or catacombs in Elden Ring can hide secrets, thus incentivizing player explorat

This is what makes accidentally killing Boc one of the most regrettable things players can do in Elden Ring . Near the end of his quest line, the Tarnished can help Boc gain a Larval Tear so that he can visit Rennala and be reborn as a human. Boc's hope - along with the player's - is that he can find self-worth in a new body. However, what ends up happening is that Boc becomes a feeble being who perishes very quickly after being reb

The enemies are all mostly animals, making the cave look more natural than others. Of course, there's also the question of the reward. That would be the Smithing Stones and the Blue Dancer Charm , which is important for some lightweight builds. It has an entrance that almost makes it look like a dungeon, but it's still a cave. In a surprisingly sweet and funny piece of lore, the main reason that the General learned cosmic abilities was so that he wouldn't have to hurt or leave his beloved normal-sized horse beh

Inspired by folklore and horror, Bloodborne takes players down a path of investigating a mysterious affliction. It's fantasy meets mystery meets RPG, and the three genres work in tandem to augment one another. Mystery keeps players exploring, fantasy means there's no telling what they'll find, and RPG means player ownership of the character. Because Fia works for Elden Ring 's Prince of Death , she kills D for this reason. She appears to kill him using Death itself, as thorns cover his body. These same thorns cover Rogier's legs, meaning he also must have been affected and killed with Death Blight by researching Black Knifeprints with Fia and sleeping with her. While Rogier knew that his association with Fia and Death would lead to his own end, it is the player's enabling of Fia and Rogier that leads to his and D's dea
