Neutral is the base for what's to come. The first handful of Pals you're going to be meeting are almost all Neutral. This element is, unfortunately, the weakest, as it is weak against Dark but has no advantages against other types.

While most of the Pals who can work the Ranch and drop items from it can only drop one item, Vixy has the potential to drop three. While you may still want a Lamball or Cremis in the Ranch to farm Wool, Vixy will drop Pal Spheres, Gold Coins, and Arrows , making it a valuable way to make money, automate Sphere production, and gain free arrows to help you generate cheaper ammo. Later in the game, the arrows might be less helpful, but Gold Coins and Spheres will always be useful for players to have a steady sup

Fenglope is also quite strong in combat, and its Level 2 Lumbering Trait can help you stock on wood. It's this addition of agility and utility that makes Fenglope such an easy choice for any kind of team.

Digtoise's Drill Crusher Partner Skill is where it shines. This skill has it continuously spinning in an uncontrollable manner wherever the player goes, colliding into stone and ore blocks and turning them into dust. Its Level 3 Mining skill is the only one it has in its repertoire, but Digtoise is a defensively bulky Pal that can defend players from attacks. Stick it in front of a Stone Pit and let it run w

Frostallion Noct is a special variant Pal that cannot be found in the wild. A Frostallion Noct can only be obtained by breeding a regular Frostallion with a Helzephyr. Thanks to its Travel Companion Partner Skill, Nitewing offers the unprecedented experience of aerial exploration that opens new areas you couldn’t reach before.

Kikit is a Pal that is similar in shape and behavior to an armadillo. It is a ground-type Pal that is found on the far western side of the map on Forgotten Island. Since this is typically suggested for high-level players, players may not end up with a Kikit until fairly late in the game, when they already have other Pals that are better at min

Updated October 1, 2024 by Matt Weideman: Palworld was a wildly successful game that broke multiple records on Steam in the first few months after its release. With new content reviving the game and drawing people back to it, this list was expanded to include a few more mining Pals that players may want to seek out to help out their b

Saving the best for last, Astegon is the only creature in Palworld to have a Level 4 Mining skill. This behemoth can be found in the Destroyed Mineshaft and the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary. Taking it on and catching it is a true test of patience and strength, as Astegon is no easy task. It also spawns as a Level 48 field boss, giving players the battle of a lifet

The members of this group of Pals are also incredibly strong. The likes of Chillet, Jetragon, Jormuntide, and Orserk are all devastating Pals in a fight. While they may be lacking in the Work Suitability area overall, Dragon Pals are so overwhelmingly powerful that it's a totally worthy trade-off.

Disregarding its Level 1 Handiwork, which players won't need much of, Astegon is the only Pal in the game to have a Level 4 Mining skill and will have ore and stone piling up in little time. It also has the Black Ankylosaur Partner Skill, which allows players to fly around town quickly, and does increased damage to ore when mounted. Players will have fun zipping from region to region while destroying any block in its

Your Pals will lose sanity as they work and might slack off, refuse to work, or just stress-eat at times. However, a Workaholic Pal will do so much less frequently. It works wonders if you have this Passive Ability on one of your best worker Pals, a Petallia or Annubis, perhaps.

Beakon is one of the Pals that can be encountered in the large desert biome of Palworld. This one can only be found in the northernmost reaches of the area. You can also find an Alpha Pal Boss version closer to the starting point, just southwest of the Deep Bamboo Thicket Fast Travel marker. To craft Beakon’s Saddle, you’ll need the following materials:

Warsect will not often be available to players just beginning Palworld , but it will be an excellent member to add to the base. Lumbering is a reasonable and very necessary skill to have, and Warsect can both do logging tasks and transport the wood to chests, so the player does not have to. Until you find a Warsect, Eikthyrdeer is also a notable addition to the base and has stats that can increase the mining potential of other Pals. However, Eikthyrdeer doesn’t have any other skills, so Warsect will be a better worker in the long t

The Melpaca appears in your first hours exploring the vast lands of Palworld. That means most players will use the Melpaca as their first ride after they get the saddle, one the most important pieces of technology you can go for right from the start . So, while Melpaca doesn’t have the strength to endure late-game missions, it remains one of the best Pals because it introduces you to a new mechanic.
