As a result, BOTW is not the easiest game to quickly replay should players want to refresh their memory ahead of Tears of the Kingdom ; and the required commitment of both time and effort can be discouraging. Fortunately, the actual narrative of Breath of the Wild is relatively straightforward and lends itself well to a written plot synopsis for those who want an easily-digested summary of the g<br><br>Our heroes spent so long saving Hyrule only to plunge it into turmoil a second time, and their relationship will soon be tested through tough decisions and sacrifices we are yet to see unfold. Heavy is the head that wears the crown, and the limbs forced to adopt ancient powers to overcome unknown evil. The hopeful melancholy this land boasted in previous years has been torn away, replaced by an intense apocalyptic veneer that it will likely be our duty to wipe away. Zelda is a damsel in distress no more, and Link is no longer an untouchable hero who can hold the entire world on his shoulders. Tears of the Kingdom must confront these changing circumstances, and judging from everything we’ve seen, it likely will.<br><br> <br>A few shots from Tears of the Kingdom appear to take place underground, in caves and caverns. In one particular portion of the footage, next to a handful of Bokoblins that appear to be mining, you can clearly see what looks like spirits floating around on the gro<br><br> <br>There is a storm raging in many of the shots shown in the trailer, but a particular portion of this raging storm is worth taking note of: a large cyclone hovering above Hyrule in the clouds. It doesn't appear to reach the land but is nonetheless seen in multiple different sh<br><br> <br>During one of the more ominous shots in the trailer, the game's villain - presumably the threatening voice of Gannondorf - can be heard commanding his minions to raze Hyrule and destroy the kingdom. We see various enemies manifested through bursts of malice, but one in particular certainly stands <br><br> <br>Breath of the Wild begins with an amnesiac Link awakening to the sound of a feminine voice, rousing him from a strange pod-like device. Directed by the voice to claim the Shiekah Slate resting on a nearby pedestal, he emerges from an underground chamber to find himself on a plateau overlooking a beautiful but desolate Hyrule. He soon encounters a strange old man who offers to trade his paraglider for the spirit orbs held within four nearby Sheikah Shrines, which also unlock various features of the Sheikah Slate. Link completes the shrine’s tests, only for the old man to disappear while inviting him to the nearby ruined Temple of T<br><br> <br>Tears of the Kingdom 's vehicle construction already looks to be one of the game's big gimmicks, but sailing could act alongside that, potentially with self-constructed boats. Not to mention, a flood overtaking Hyrule could be what the title Tears of the Kingdom refers to, as Hyrule is flooded by a deluge almost like the tears of the goddess falling onto the land. It's possible that the title could have been foreshadowing such an event all al<br><br> <br>One easy way that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom might be able to win over fans is by re-introducing the themed dungeons that were a trademark of the Zelda series for so long. Every game except Breath of the Wild had this dungeon dwelling as a means to gain abilities and weaponry. Whilst Breath of the Wild 's Divine Beasts proved a challenging and unique twist on the formula, the change had fans like Redditor BarbacoaSan lamenting the lack of "old Zelda dungeons with their own them<br><br>This power materialises in an ancient gauntlet that binds itself to Link’s arm, used to phase through environments and move mysterious objects long sat dormant in the sky. Is Ganon now bound to Link, or another character entirely being kept ever so close to the game’s chest?<br><br> <br>Even when it received universal critical acclaim upon its release, the one drawback of Breath of the Wild that critics and fans alike complained about was that weapons are far too flimsy, and having to find new ones when they break is frustrating. There would be no shame for Nintendo in admitting weapon durability was an unwise experiment and scaling back the mechanic to remove this frustrat<br>
