<br>At first glance, the land of Hyrule looks near-identical to Breath of the Wild's post-apocalyptic, Guardian-infested map. In the official trailer, you'll notice Link riding around on horseback in the tell-tale green fields of Hyrule's central region.<br><br> <br><img src="https://images.unsplash.com/photo-1623643752842-d60dd96fff58?ixid=M3wxMjA3fDB8MXxzZWFyY2h8M3x8dm9pY2UlMjBtZW1vcmllcyUyMGZlYXR1cmV8ZW58MHx8fHwxNzYzMzQ0MjkxfDA\u0026ixlib=rb-4.1.0"; style="max-width:410px;float:left;padding:10px 10px 10px 0px;border:0px;" alt="black microphone on black background" />While there are no three-headed dragons present in Breath of the Wild, Link has faced off against similar creatures across The Legend of Zelda's history. Most notably, the first title in the series featured a boss named Gleeok, a similar three-headed dragon that is only defeated by the removal of its many heads. If that's the same creature, it would be making its 3D debut after being seen in various 2D titles , much like the Lynels of the previous g<br><br> <br>Another instance of an unfamiliar green power appears as Link fires off an arrow in the direction of one of the new flying enemies we see in this footage. Link's shot glows green before he releases, and even though this round-tipped arrow is aimed off to the side of his enemy, it manages to home in on the creature and strike<br><br> <br>This certainly isn't a new addition to the wishlist of Zelda fans and the outcry about being unable to pet the dogs in Breath of the Wild was so great that it led to game director Hidemaro Fujibayashi having to explain why they were unable to implement the feature (via IGN .) Though his explanation was reasonable, fans still might be disappointed if nothing changes in Tears of the Kingd<br><br> <br>Interestingly, a close inspection of the brief footage of them shows that each contraption is stuck together by an unknown green substance. This mystery glue is just one of many similar elements that we see in the trai<br><br> <br>During one of the more ominous shots in the trailer, the game's villain - presumably the threatening voice of Gannondorf - can be heard commanding his minions to raze Hyrule and destroy the kingdom. We see various enemies manifested through bursts of malice, but one in particular certainly stands <br><br> <br>Recovered memories also reveal details surrounding the various champions. Mipha is revealed to have had an unrequited crush on Link. On the other hand, Revali was aloof and arrogant, seeing himself as far better suited for the role of Hero. Daruk was loud, boisterous, and a true friend to the young hero, while Urbosa was a strong chief and a mother figure for Zelda. But regardless of these different personalities, however, the four Champions ultimately came together in defense of Hyrule. Even if they ultimately failed, it is clear that they were all heroes in their own ri<br><br> <br>Interestingly, however, despite indications that Zelda might be reprising her perennial role as a damsel in distress, the final trailer for Tears of the Kingdom seems to suggest otherwise, despite her separation from Link in what appears to be an early part of the game. Cutscenes, presumably from later in TOTK , separately show Zelda interacting with a currently unknown character, holding the Master Sword, and awaiting Link at an unknown location, suggesting that she has a larger role to play in the game's story than in B<br><br>Now, the recent release of an official Tears of the Kingdom gameplay teaser shows exactly how Link will face the challenges Ganon throws him this time around. Although nobody will know for sure how things play out in Hyrule until it releases, there are a couple of enticing details the trailer hints at.<br><br> <br>When fighting enemies with a lot of health, a way to deal damage over time can be helpful. This can also prove useful against bosses with mechanics that require Link to move in order to avoid damage, as the Crab Arrow can keep dealing some amount of damage to the boss while Link is unable to properly att<br> <br>Of course, this stalemate cannot last forever. Already, Zelda’s power is waning, so Rhoam tasks Link with rescuing the princess and defeating Calamity Ganon before her strength is fully exhausted. As part of this quest, Link is also instructed to free the Divine Beasts, which would be invaluable in the final battle. Finally, with his own strength reaching his limits, the King gives Link his paraglider and instructs the young hero to seek out Impa of Kakariko Village, who will guide him further. The King’s spirit then disappears once m<br><br> <br>However, Ganon proved to be impossible to defeat. He corrupted the Guardians and Divine Beasts, turning them against Hyrule when he finally emerged, and the four Champions perished. At the same time, the Princess' knight was mortally wounded, leaving Calamity Ganon Free to destroy Hyrule. Just when all hope seemed lost, Princess Zelda awoke her divine powers and trapped Ganon inside Hyrule Castle. Link is, of course, her knight, finally healed after 100 years by the aptly-named Shrine of Resurrection. Zelda, meanwhile, is trapped alongside Ganon inside the castle, holding him back; it is her voice that has been calling out to L<br>
