The Slum Lanes can be a bit of a maze to newer players but the good thing about this area is that it can be easy to get lost when meeting up with other players. Unless someone is using Bloodhound or Crypto, this area is easy to get the jump on others and escape if needed. The area has a lot of loot chests here as well but they are spread out and most of the loot is just lying on the floor in each building. Not a lot of players come to this location and is a good place to go if avoidance of the pack is the strat

Wraith is one of the 3 legends who have a skin that is gifted to players once they purchase the battle pass for Season 5. The other two are Revenant and Bloodhound, and out of the 3, she sadly has the least interesting skin. It shouldn't be too much of a bummer as Wraith has plenty of rock-solid skins, and her skin for Season 5 isn't too shabby itself. There doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason for the way it's colored and that lack of cohesion makes the thing feel messy and less interesting over

Just like with the Off The Record skin discussed in the last entry, the Bootlegger skin has a sister skin that's pretty much a palette swap. This one also happens to be the variant that places an emphasis on red, black, and white as its color focus. This skin makes Loba look very dapper and fits into the aesthetic theme of the entire season. People will often use the phrase "dressed to kill" and Loba is communicating every bit of it with this outfit. It could also be mistaken as someone's created character in Red Dead Onli

In Season 5 the Wingman still isn't a top tier weapon in the game, but it is nice that it saw some love via skins. Every season the game tends to end the battle pass with a pair of skins for a specific weapon. The most notable was when the R-301 Carbine received a pair of rhinoceros inspired skins, with one being gold and the other silver. The Wingman received the same treatment and its Precision Caliber skin happens to have a flashier golden design, whereas its counterpart which we'll get into later is a lot more sub

Earlier, the Off The Record skin was discussed, and that happened to be the sister skin to this one, Purple Reign. Instead of the red, black, Project Scout and white color combination, Purple Reign is all about the color in its namesake. Ranging from royal hues to very pastel leaning vibrance, this skin has Loba popping off of the screen. The thigh-high boots definitely make her look like a rich mob boss in the inner city of a cyberpunk infused future. The pop of pink throughout helps the skin remain interesting, yet cohes

Her tactical ability, Theif's Best Friend, is a short distance teleport. Loba throws her bracelet like a frisbee and instantly teleports wherever it lands. It has a 25 second cooldown and a long animation recovery, but it's a great tool for getting in and out of trou

You might be scratching your head wondering how on Earth the Prowler made it into the Top 10 when considering the best weapons in the game for Season 5 . It all comes down to a single attachment called the select-fire hop-up. When attached it allows players to turn the gun into an assault rifle. A fully equipped Prowler turns the unwieldy and overlooked gun into something quite formidable in battle. It shouldn't be your go-to weapon, but it can make its mark in a pinch with the right pieces in pl

The L-Star, much like the Mastiff which will be discussed later on, is a weapon that was once relegated to care packages but spawns in the overworld in Season 5. A weapon that doesn't require you to reload it is pretty powerful, you just need to make sure it doesn't overheat. You can become rather careless with ammunition when you forget about reloading, so just be aware of your energy ammo supply. The speed at which your weapon can fire can become all too important, and the L-Star is best in cl

Imagine being the greatest hitman in one of the most dangerous crime syndicates to ever exist. Before he was turned into a murderous robot, that's exactly what Revenant was. For 300 years he's been carrying out hits for the Syndicate and has functioned as more machine than man through

Apex Legends is currently making its way through Season 5, and as with all of its previous seasons, there are plenty of cosmetics to acquire. Some of them are for legends, while many others are meant to spice up the look of the weapons you've already been using for well over a year in Respawn 's hit free-to-play game. With that many new skins in the game, it can be hard figuring out which ones are the best of the bunch. Luckily this article will hopefully do exactly that for you. Let's now look at the 10 best weapon skins in Season 5 of Apex Legen

If this list was simply about ranking the names of all of the Season 5 weapon skins, you'd be hard-pressed to find one better than the Bad Mojo skin for the Spitfire. The Spitfire is a large and powerful light-machine gun that was once highly coveted but has recently fallen off due to players preferring other weapons in its weapon cl
