The CAR-15 is one of the starting weapons for all classes, and the most versatile of the Rifles, able to use many attachments from other weapons like the M16 and M4A1. It needs a few levels and attachments before its recoil becomes manageable, but when it does it’s a simple weapon that is lightweight and effective at both short and mid-ra

Easily the best weapon that players can use at Level 1, the CAR-15 assault rifle can do pretty much everything that somebody would need it to. It has good range, solid damage, and allows players to engage from both a distance and up close. It can handle just about anything in the game and will give players the best chance to find success in the early stages as they level

Delta Force has a good amount of stuff for players to learn when they're first starting out. He specializes in taking out important targets with TV-guided missiles and creating hardpoints with deployable cover . Uluru is also equipped with incendiary grenades that can cut off choke points, and like Shepard, he has access to the powerful SCAR-H assault rifle for engaging enemies from close-medium ran

Even though my first go at Havoc Warfare ended in a loss, my second attempt at the mode went a lot smoother as I got to grips with how to use each Operator’s abilities. At one point, I took out a hallway of enemies with D-Wolf’s grenades, and in another, I managed to fire off Luna’s sonar arrow to reveal which part of the map the enemy team was trying to chokehold. Hawk Ops’ general gameplay isn’t too groundbreaking in the genre, but the Operators do help it feel distinct and satisfying.

Toxik focuses more on offensive tactics compared to Stinger . Instead of healing directly with gadgets, she reduces the time it takes for passive health regeneration to start for nearby squadmates. Toxik buffs teammates with her mini-UAVs to boost their weapon handling and reduce the effects of hit flinch while disrupting the enemy's vision, hearing, and maximum hea

The QBZ is a monster at mid-range and one of the best Assault Rifles. In terms of fire rate and handling it feels like a middle-ground between the AKS-74 and the CAR-15. It functions well on both sides of the middle-range spectrum, making it perfect for canted sights and variable z

Light machine guns are always going to deliver an insane amount of bullets in a short amount of time. This one is no different, and it provides some excellent suppression when a team needs it. The better the game performs, the better the odds players will have at performing to the best of their abilities. Either of these though can be used to dominate close range in spite of these differences, and with fire-rate and equitable damage these guns have seriously low TTK that shines at SMG ra

M16A4 Assault Rifle is the final assault rifle available at Level 1. The M16A4 is not the best of the best, but it is quite good. It comes with a three-round burst-fire mode that provides little recoil and better accuracy than other rifles on this list. The only thing is that it does have some power loss in that, so it will take a couple of bursts, usually, to take the enemy out in a timely man

Delta Force Tactics Force makes a return after its 15-year hiatus with its latest installment. Outside of its tight gunplay, the main focus of Hawk Ops’ is its Operators, which work similarly to Heroes in games like Overwatch and Valorant. My preview featured four to choose from, but I quickly gravitated towards Luna, a Recon Operator whose cooldown abilities let her fire a shock arrow that dealt electric damage over time and a sonar arrow that revealed enemy positions like Hanzo in Overwatch.
