UPDATE: Durham Regional Police have corrected earlier information, stating the total value of seizures in Project Kamloops is $2 million, not $6.5 million as previously reported.
Durham Regional Police, in collaboration with the RCMP, Toronto Police Service, and Peel Regional Police, executed multiple search warrants earlier this week as part of a GTA-wide drug trafficking investigation.
The coordinated operation, known as Project Kamloops, began in the spring and targeted drug trafficking activities in Durham Region and See More across the Greater Toronto Area. This week, nine search warrants were carried out at several residences and businesses in Durham, Toronto, and Peel Region.
According to police, the raids resulted in the seizure of approximately $875,000 in cash, vehicles, and drugs, in addition to previous seizures made during the investigation.

Six vehicles (Proceeds of Crime)

Nine people were arrested without incident and are now facing a total of 60 charges related to the investigation.
Police say the combined value of all seizures linked to Project Kamloops, including this week’s operation, is just over $2 million.
