There's no doubt that there are a lot of Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds memes out there. So many that they're hard to avoid lately, but people can't seem to get enough of them. Fortnite is a popular game, it has millions of players, cross-platform play, it's free, on mobile, and can run on garbage PCs. None can doubt the breadth of its potential fanbase.

Since PUBG got super popular before Fortnite , there's been a bit of rivalry going on. We can definitely understand why, looking at the two games side by side. Most people aren't going to play two similar games at the same time. They'd both get boring twice as fast. So most of the casuals pick a side and that debate has raged into a roaring storm of nonsense and memes.

You're going to hear from a Fortnite fan on this article, but that's only because some of us are poor and free-to-play games are the only thing we can roll with. That doesn't mean that PUBG isn't good, but hey, people just can't like both equally. So take it easy on Fortnite and Paladins. They may be similar to other games, but they offer a happiness to children and less productive grown-ups that is usually reserved for sitting around in your underwear on your couch, watching bad movies on Netflix.

25 All Graphics Matter
<img src="http://www.imageafter.com/image.php?image=b17maartent1403.jpg&dl=1"; style="max-width:410px;float:left;padding:10px 10px 10px 0px;border:0px;" alt="" />
<img src="https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/image-5-1.png"; alt="" /> via: pinterest.com

We're going to guess that Fortnite is the less awesome version of battle royale games and Kanye West, based on this meme. But who really is this Wal-Mart brand Kanye West on the bottom of the meme? Maybe he is a lot more fun than the real Kanye West, and maybe he's even a fan of Taylor Swift.

People can poke fun at this Discount Kanye West all they want, but the truth is, he is free to play. We can make fun of him all we want and we won't have any risk of a Kardashian army of bad press flooding our lives. We can all choose our battles and we can all pick which Kanye we want. But choosing the cartoon version only means that we don't care too much for the real world and the graphics that come with it.

24 Tears Of Truth

<img src="https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/image-32.png"; alt="" /> via: imgur.com

Some people out there really don't have a great grasp on their emotions. Whenever a debate or discussion gets heated or veers away from what they feel comfortable with, the tears start to flow. With some, they are tears of sadness or pain, while others are tears of anger and rage.

The fact of the matter is they all taste delicious and sweet despite their salty makeup.

Most of the time when we drink tears we sort of just deal with the person's face right underneath their eyes. It's not as easy to "milk" their tears or collect them in a jar. But this meme has the right idea using a straw. However, FPSGamerBase official we do not condone the wasteful nature of straws and the growing number of gigantic plastic islands floating in the oceans. But this is perhaps the most valued use of a straw we have ever seen. It's unprecedented.

23 I Have No Son

<img src="https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/61e0fc843e43b9814feeeb98d13fc5ca-1.png"; alt="" /> via: pinterest.com

No matter how you raise your child, they're going to take on ideas and opinions of your own. If you sit a kid down and tell them that NSync is your favorite band (and the best band ever), and make them listen to it for hours on end, day after day, you'd think, maybe, that you can probably convince them to feel the same way about Justin Timberlake as you do. But you'd be wrong. Kids have their own thoughts and feelings, and will end up making their own opinions about things.

In the case of this comic, this kid ended up loving PUBG , much to the chagrin of his father. It's too bad, really, because you can tell in that last panel just how passionate the father is about Fortnite . It's a shame.

22 This Is Mine

<img src="https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/image-3-1.png"; alt="" /> via: pinterest.com

People often lie to themselves to make it seem as if their life isn't a massive pile of garbage. It works for the most part, as their friends and family slowly but surely drift away from their toxic lifestyle until they eventually face the truth or perish. Some people take the inventions of others and make millions of dollars.

These are the type of people that must lie to themselves in order to make their testimony believable.

But for Fortnite to be thrown into this category is a bit unfair. Fortnite came out a while ago with no real multiplayer PvP game mode. But suddenly, after the massive success of PUBG , it added something special. The biggest difference between the game is the building, something Fortnite is based on almost entirely.

21 ACKCHYUALLY!

<img src="https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/image-12-1.png"; alt="" /> via: pinterest.com

There are some very serious humans out there in the world. Some in places of power and some who troll internet forums and social media. What they choose to do with their lives is not to be judged, but by how seriously they act is how they are to be judged. So when you are walking around town with your friend and you're talking about how great Fortnite is, chances are you're going to run into some guy like in the meme above.

People have passions, it's what makes art and stuff great. Passion is sometimes blinding and people often allow their subjective desires to get in the way of rational thinking. This happens to a point where if anything is heard that conflicts with their thoughts, they get triggered. This is a meme about a triggered PUBG nerd cake.

Another comic involving a young boy and his father's utter disappointment, this time at a much early age. We believe that the baby after just being born was influenced by a doctor who was a fan of Fortnite. Get them while they are young, it always works. And it always will work.

Except in the cases that we talked about in that other entry a few ones back.

This baby will probably be adopted by a loving family who actually likes them. One who accepts them for who they are, and likes their choice of casual video games. Really, they're probably better off not being in such a judgmental family anyways. We wish this baby the best of luck in their future.

19 Treasure Or Not?

<img src="https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/image-10-1.png"; alt="" /> via: imgflip.com

Some say that it's the journey you travel that is the true treasure. Well, in a situation like this it has to be, considering the scroll you find has less than savory information on it. Imagine traveling for days and months to some cave with a treasure chest in it.

You've sunk all of your money into this journey and when you finally find the prize, you're overwhelmed with joy. It's at this moment that you open the chest to see a scroll. Perhaps there is some more to the secret, but no, you're met with a simple piece of information. One could argue that this green traveler is angry at there not being a bunch of gold in the chest. But we really know the truth is that this is a Fortnite fan infuriated with the truth.

18 It's For Kids

<img src="https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/image-34.png"; alt="" /> via: reddit.com

One could argue the factual representation of this meme. Most of the people who play Fortnite are children. That being children who are human beings under the age of 18. And PUBG seems to be played by the older generations who have strong computers and money to spend. They are also people who're probably sick of playing Call of Duty games and want something familiar but new.

The problem with this meme is that we aren't entirely sure if the kids playing these games are wearing shoes or not.

This would add to the accuracy of this photo. Now, when I look down at my feet while playing battle royale games, my shoes are almost always tossed to the side somewhere. But I am also not a 12-year-old boy. At least I hope not.
<img src="http://www.imageafter.com/image.php?image=b17maartent740.jpg&dl=1"; style="max-width:450px;float:left;padding:10px 10px 10px 0px;border:0px;" alt="" />
17 Safety Not Guaranteed

<img src="https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/image-19-1-1.png"; alt="" /> via: cad-comic.com

One of the more alluring pieces of Fortnite is that fact that you can destroy pretty much anything. And those materials that you gain from destruction can then be used to build any size fort you wish. The building isn't for noobs, there is a learning curve. But one of the main things that you realize is that those things you build can be easily destroyed.

The focus of this comic is that the idea of building to save yourself is not always the best option. Sometimes it's nice to just have some landmarks or something to hide behind knowing that they won't be destroyed. This way you can fire back at your enemies with the idea and knowledge of safety behind this barricade. Knowledge is power.

16 You're Doing It Wrong, But Keep Trying

<img src="https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/image-36.png"; alt="" /> via: memedroid.com

Anyone who goes from one game to another is in for a rude awakening. Either the jump button isn't in the right place or there is no sprint button or the reload button is in a terrible position. We've all experienced. Personally, I set all of my controls in shooters to take after Halo or Gears of War .

That way you can jump between games with the same scheme and one less thing to worry about.

But for those who go from a super realistic game with realistic graphics to a cartoony type game can be a bit unsettling at times. It's hard to realize that you're no longer in the crazy world of war and that you're really in a chill arena of fun time limes. If that bothers you, then you should just go back to your sandbox and sunshine and leave the gaming to us nerds.
