Braja Kishore is founder of Aahwahan Foundation. His vision to work for life values, education and contemplative culture for society. It aims to promote better health, well-being and resilience for individuals and communities by reducing sufferings in human life. Our foundation is one of the Best NGO for Education in Bengaluru. We have around 37 kids whose educational care are taken by Aahwahan Foundation till 10th standard. By conducting collection drives for food, clothes, books, blankets and other necessities one can help the poor and needy people.
These collection drives can be conducted in schools, offices or locality and reaches to the neediest people. Volunteering your time and efforts towards children can make a very big impact. Creating awareness among the people for helping the poor and needy people can get more and more individuals join the drive. These volunteers can help in arranging free health camps, doctors can be invited to treat the poor and needy people. Even the smallest efforts counts.
Indicating the true purpose of education is not drilling, or teaching a lot of useless facts (which one can find on the Internet anyway), nor submission to established societal values, but leading out that which already is within. An educator, then, is a person who helps one achieve the fullness of one's potential without trying to impose his own viewpoints. On the other hand, there are people who cannot even afford the basic requirements of living.
They do not have shelter to live, food to eat, and clothes to wear. People who have extra are living a comfortable and a posh life. While those who have barely the vitals are fighting each day for life. They fail to meet the basic requirements. There are people who have much more than they need to live while others have barely enough to survive. Being poor math division 5th grade means deprived economically, politically and socially. They hardly get opportunities. They have inadequate nutrition, higher risk of diseases and lack access to healthcare and basic essentials for living resulting in low achievement.
