<br>With many new Fortnite skins and characters being teased this season, it is extremely exciting to see where Epic decides to go next with its massive battle royale. This season has been extremely successful for Fortnite , with this latest chapter including many new skins, mechanics, and a map. As the snow melts and Tilted Towers finally thaws out, many players will most definitely be enjoying the events and skins of this new, definitive season of **Fortnite <br><br> <br>With Fortnite feeling as new as ever , Chapter 3's island manages to feel brand new despite having a good amount of areas and assets from Chapters 1 and 2. The map features four biomes, each with their own unique areas and NPC's to discover. The desert biome feels a lot like the original desert area from Chapter 1, but rockier and canyon-like. Two brand new locations, Chonker's Speedway and Condo Canyon, are some areas the player can land at this biome. The snowy tundra biome takes more than half of the map and has a tease that is exciting to many Fortnite veterans. Iconic landing spot, Tilted Towers, seems to freeze under the snow and will most likely thaw out as the season goes by. Chapter 1 locations Greasy Grove and Shifty Shafts have made a return this season as well. The rest of the landing spots are brand new locations such as Sleepy Sound and Camp Cuddle. These new locations are a sure way to bring in tons of new and returning players to the g<br> <br>Iceman has appeared as a playable character in a surprising number of video games in the past, including both X-Men Legends games and all three Marvel Ultimate Alliance games . Similarly, to Colossus, Iceman's ability to encase himself in ice could add an opportunity for Epic Games to add multiple skin options for Iceman. His iconic ice slide ability could also make for an interesting glider option, allowing him to ice slide down from the Battle Bus and into the <br><br> <br>Another new mechanic that has not technically been released yet is web-swinging. With Spider-Man crossing over onto Fortnite this season, Epic has added new web-shooters into the game. This item can only be used in Arena mode for now, and will most likely be released in every game mode by the time Spider-Man: No Way Home releases. Fortnite 's web-swinging has been widely praised by fans, even being compared to web-swinging in games like Marvel's Avenge<br> <br>Fans of the X-Men were excited when it was announced that Dark Phoenix would be joining Fortnite _ 's **** _ ever-expanding roster of crossover skins, but many X-Men enthusiasts couldn't help but wonder what other members of the X-Men could come next. Dark Phoenix isn't the first skin based on an X-Men hero to be added to Fortnite , with Wolverine, Storm, and Mystique having been added in Fortnite's Marvel-themed season , and Cable, Domino, Psylocke, and Deadpool joining later as part of an X-Force cross-promotion. While eight skins may sound like a lot for a cross-promotion, for hardcore X-Men fans, it's only a small taste of the massive roster of mutant superheroes that could join the <a href="https://Amazingsweets.lms-fbid.com/blog/index.php?entryid=138670">SLG game units</a>. In addition, there are still some glaring omissions from the roster, that X-Men fans and Fortnite players are no doubt eager to get their hands<br><br> <br>This list only scratches the surface of X-Men characters that could join Fortnite. Other favorites like Beast and Nightcrawler would also make great additions, along with classic X-Men villains like Magneto and Sabretooth. The only downside to the inclusion of Marvel fans' favorite mutant heroes as skins in Fortnite is that players won't have access to any of their mutant abilities in-game. While this is understandable considering how overpowered these abilities would be in Fortnite , it would still be cool to see some of the characters using those abilities in combat. Perhaps limited time modes or weapons could make their inclusion a possibility. Regardless of whether they have their abilities or not, seeing more X-Men heroes being included in _Fortnite _ would be a dream come true for many fans of both franchi<br><br> <br>Basically, a lot of these changes automate what had to be done manually by artists and modelers - the engine reduces polygon counts eliminating the need for separate levels of details. For light sources, no longer do developers have to wait for the engine to generate lightmaps that only light one object a specific way - the engine does light calculations on the fly at a much faster rate than it did before. Decreasing the workload needed to finish a project could mean that the development team is able to create more original content and characters without needing to do as much specific tuning to environme<br><br> <br>While Jean Grey fans were no doubt excited by her surprise appearance in Fortnite , Jean is more than just the Dark Phoenix, and Fortnite should acknowledge that by giving Jean her own skin, separate from her Phoenix Force that she has always struggled to control. While it would be fantastic to see a green version of her Phoenix costume as an alternate selectable skin, it would be even cooler to see her take on the mantle of Marvel Girl once again, as she has in the comics. Her green and gold dress or her X-Men Red costume would make for great skins in Fortn<br>
