There hasn't been a proper X-Men game to be released since the 2014 mobile game Uncanny X-Men: The Days of Future Past , and there hasn't been an X-Men game released for consoles since Activision's X-Men: Destiny . Since the new Skydance Marvel game likely isn't an X-Men game and Insomniac's new Wolverine game hasn't been confirmed to feature any other members of the X-Men, fans of the mutant superhero team may be waiting quite some time before they're able to step into the shoes of their favorite mutants in a game that's dedicated towards them. In the meantime, many fans have been trying to find ways to play as their favorite X-Men in various crossover games. While members of the X-Men are playable in several mobile games like Marvel Strike Force and in the Nintendo Switch's Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 , Fortnite might be X-Men fans' best chance of getting to play as their favorite charact

Epic also added a brand new first-person ADS rifle in Chapter 3 , as well as a brand new arsenal of weapons. Known as the MK-Seven, this assault rifle is a beast to use in-game, with the sights going into first-person POV when being aimed down. This is very similar to PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, which has had this kind of mechanic since day one. It will be exciting to see Fornite add more weapons similar to the MK-Seven, as it can be a game-changer in com

The biggest boon from Unreal Engine 5 is most likely all development-focused, but it allows for game designers to create ideas like Fortnite 's new smooth Marvel-esque web-slinging more efficiently, leading to better experiences. Already, the new map for Fortnite: Chapter 3 seems to be taking advantage of many of the higher-quality resolutions and open-world possibilities. The game's consistent update strategy and integration of popular IPs require a quick turnover time. The new engine could allow for more major overhauls to maps and better performance for creative m

Torin is another character skin that seems to be one of a kind, with an all-new facial appearance and hairstyle. She has several different style options with different colors, and her special emote allows her to shift into the Sideways Warrior, an alien-looking skin hidden beneath. Her Datafiber Chargepack back bling also happens to be a very unique design that reveals the number of kills the player has while playing. She can wield a pink Lightblade that looks like a futuristic kat

Chapter 3 of Fortnite opened with the player character being drifted onto a smaller island of the new map, trudging along until they are greeted by the Foundation, who is with a group of other loopers. He tells the player that they will find a way to "break the loop," which has been a recurring theme since Chapter 1. The camera then pans over to the brand new map, which features about four main biomes: a snowy tundra, the usual grassy forest, a desert, and an archipelago which seems to be where the Foundation and his buddies l

Catalyst and Drift were both parts of Battle Passes and could be upgraded, unlocking new styles options as players completed quests and leveled up. Both begin very simply, and in the end turn out to be these robed, masked individuals with supercharge electricity flowing all around them. Having joined the team in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (the same issue that introduced Wolverine, Storm, and Nightcrawler) in 1975, Colossus has supported the X-Men through some of their biggest stories throughout the years and continues to be a major asset to the team. Colossus is one of the more high-profile members of the X-Men, having appeared in several of the live-action films, including a major role in Deadpool and its sequel. Colossus has also been playable in several video games, including being a launch character in Marvel Contest of Champions . His original exclusion from the roster of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 (despite being featured in the SLG game news's story) __ even caused enough fan upset that Koei Tecmo quickly announced that Colossus would join Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3's roster as post-launch

This list only scratches the surface of X-Men characters that could join Fortnite. Other favorites like Beast and Nightcrawler would also make great additions, along with classic X-Men villains like Magneto and Sabretooth. The only downside to the inclusion of Marvel fans' favorite mutant heroes as skins in Fortnite is that players won't have access to any of their mutant abilities in-game. While this is understandable considering how overpowered these abilities would be in Fortnite , it would still be cool to see some of the characters using those abilities in combat. Perhaps limited time modes or weapons could make their inclusion a possibility. Regardless of whether they have their abilities or not, seeing more X-Men heroes being included in _Fortnite _ would be a dream come true for many fans of both franchi
