These topics engage the students as they are things they can relate to and have a lot of information about, thereby making it easier to form a strong argument. Furthermore, the process becomes more enjoyable, and the students more invested.
However, despite its success, the program faced a unique challenge: accessibility. The cost of participation was a barrier for many low-income families, limiting the program's reach and potentially its overall impact.
